MozambicMozambicMozambicWe are just back from Mozambic.

Our annual fishing trip of note.

This was the 4th year.

We tried a new lodge in a new location and absolutely fell in love with.

Already planning the next year’s visit if you believe.

Our challet was extremely basic but nobody cared.

The variety of seafood was amazing. we had excellent gillies, Barthelomeo and Petros. They provided us fresh pau everyday. If you have been in one of this remote locations in a self catering house, you would know the fresh bread is the mst important thing of your day. Oh well, after fishing of course!

Guys fished almost everyday. F caught his first Yellowfin Tuna. King Mackerell and Natal Snoek was plenty. Vaughn managed to land a stumpnose while shore fishing the first day, and a rock cod the second.

We ate sashimi, sushi and seviche as  starters of each meal… despite my stupid provision of very little soy sauce for such trip… But we managed to save a drop in the bottle after all. We bought some amazing crayfish and Barth supplied us with wild oysters.

The recipes will follow, and our adventures of course…
